DownstairsOur cottage has a warm, sunny and old appeal with lots of character, pine furniture and views to the garden and fields. The sunny and warm kitchen has an original Victorian red and black tile floor and the Aga, separate stove and grill provide all the necessary cooking equipment. Open shelving and painted cupboards give it the character of a cottage kitchen, making it a joy to work in. It has all the essential things such as fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as being fully equipped with cutlery and plates for 10 and plenty of bowls and platters. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and condiments are all provided for those first few days. Wireless internet is also provided. |

The lovely hall and dining hall just off the kitchen has a natural slate floor and a large pine table with seating for 10. The cosy, sunny sitting room has an original fireplace and lovely views from two aspects. The second family sitting room has a TV with DVD player and another woodburning fireplace. In addition there is a large utility room off the hall, with a second large fridge/freezer and a clothes dryer. This leads to the downstairs cloakroom.
